Our live streaming product is a fully automated webcasting system that records and streams live. Through a simple email invitation Family and friends are able to access the service. With 90 days access to the archived service a webcast provides an opportunity for a private farewell at any time and any place. With a single click viewing a service is simple.
As our lives get busier and the distances between loved ones grow, its not always possible to be where you would like to be. Funeral Webcasting closes the distance and enables family and friends to be part of a memorial service either live while the service happens or later, when time permits.
France Family Funerals (Nelson Bay and Mayfield) have equipment installed to enable our services to be streamed around the world.
We can also provide webcasting at your chosen venue or church. Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Memorial Parks have webcasting systems installed.
We provide this service at a low cost to our client families. We can add the recording to your loved ones FFF Tribute page should you want it available for public viewing.
As with all things mobile, we cannot guarantee there will be sufficient mobile bandwidth to ensure a consistent stream at the location of your service. The service will be recorded to the device in use, so can be uploaded at the completion of the service, should there be any issues.

Requirements for watching live streams
There are some important points that need to be considered to ensure that you, and those you choose to invite, are able to successfully watch live streams, including:
Internet Connection
In order to successfully watch a live streamed event, you must have an Internet connection of reasonable quality. Whilst our live streams can be viewed on mobile devices over mobile wireless networks, we cannot guarantee that reliability of the live stream, particularly in locations where signal is unreliable. Where possible please consider watching the stream from a fixed Internet connection.
Web Browser
We have gone to great lengths to test and minimize the technical challenges of viewing our streaming services, however it is important to mention that the technology of streaming is reliant on many external factors outside our control. Factors such as Internet speed, network reliability, the software installed on your computer and the hardware or device you are using to view the stream will all affect the overall experience. To find out which devices and browsers we support, please see this article.
Video Quality
Our player will automatically select the most appropriate stream to match your Internet connection speed. This has been designed to minimise buffering and increase the reliability of your event stream.
Audio
All live streams include audio. Please ensure that your device's speakers are set at an appropriate volume or alternatively please use headphones.
Live Stream Testing
It is important to ensure that your device and / or web browser meets the minimum requirements to watch our stream successfully. You can test your device at any time by visiting our stream test page.
