Farewell Photography

Farewell Photography by Karen Stevenson
In my experience, photographs of a funeral are an immense help to the bereaved and a touching tribute to and memory of the deceased and their life.  Often, a funeral service is a key event that brings families together, and capturing those moments can be such a treasured gift to have in years to come.  The day of the funeral can honestly be a 'blur' and you will truly appreciate looking back on photos of the day, who was there, and the beautiful way in which your loved one was fare-welled.   I have pleasure in partnering with France Family Funerals to provide this service.

I work with discretion, sensitivity and compassion to offer positive and uplifting images of an emotional day.  The images are beautifully edited and arranged by myself and into an attractive Memory Book, which is delivered as a keepsake to be looked at and talked through, thus assisting in the grieving process and providing a great comfort to the bereaved.  You are also welcome to give me your favourite photographs of your loved one throughout their life, to be included in this Memory Book.

Prices for photographing one service and producing a beautiful Memory/Celebration Book start at $750.  The price will vary depending on how many aspects of the day you would like me to document:  funeral/memorial service;  committal;  after-funeral function can all be included.  Please discuss further details of this service with your Funeral Director.

Kind regards,
Karen
