Notifications
After a death the deceased can no longer participate
in transactions, hence a variety of people and organisations need
to be notified. This helps finalise the person's affairs and makes
sure you can get the help you need. After a death the immediate
persons that need to be notified are:
* Family members and close friends.
* The family doctor to issue the Death Certificate.
* France Family Funerals to transfer the deceased person to the
funeral home and make funeral arrangements.
* The Executor of the Will to execute the will.
France Family Funerals will advise Centrelink and/or Veteran's Affairs
at the time Funeral Arrangements are made. We recommend that you
notify the relevant department as a confirmation of this advice.
For other people that need to be notified please use attached checklist
as a guideline.
