What We Do
At France Family Funerals we can tailor a funeral service to your individual wishes whilst complying with all relevant laws and regulations. After discussing your preferences, we take detailed instructions about the required services and facilities you require. Then we ensure that the funeral is dignified and delivered to the highest professional standards possible. The list below is not a comprehensive list of services that we provide but it is indicative of our duties and responsibilities:
- Transfer the remains of the deceased from the place of death, or from the location to which the deceased has been taken, to our premises
- Meet with you to complete all necessary paperwork to enable burial or cremation to take place
- Arrange a date and time for the funeral according to your instructions
- Offer a choice of coffins and caskets to suit a range of budgets and individual preferences
- Contact the church, celebrant, cemetery or crematorium to arrange the funeral date and time
- Organise facilities for viewing of the deceased prior to the funeral if required
- Provide the necessary vehicles and staff to conduct the funeral in a professional manner, whilst complying with relevant rules and regulations
- Place death notices in local and/or national newspapers
- Arrange for catering following the funeral
- Record the names of those attending the funeral in order to provide you with a list via our complimentary Memorial Signature Book
- Provide those attending the funeral with a complimentary service record and thank you with each one printed with a full colour photograph free of charge
- Order and arrange floral tributes for your family and/or friends
- Register the death with Births, Deaths and Marriages as well as other relevant authorities
